Orders and Acceptance of Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase, and such offer is subject to acceptance by us. Any form of receipt (push notification/email/SMS) of an order confirmation from us our side does not imply our acceptance of your order, nor does it comprise of confirmation of our offer to sell. We may require additional information before accepting any order. We reserve the right to accept or turn down or cancel your order at any time after receiving your order request for any reason whatsoever. You are required to accurately provide the shipping address and the recipient’s name for every event of a purchase.

The sole and restricted solution if Dottedi cancels all or a part of your order is either that :

a) Dottedi will issue a credit to your credit/debit card or bank account in the amount charged for the cancelled portion (if your account card has already been charged for the order)

b) Dottedi will not charge your credit/debit card or bank account for the cancelled portion of the order.

Substitution Policy :

Since flower arrangements are freshly hand-made, there might be slight variability from the image displayed. Due to temporary or regional unavailability issues, substitution of flowers is mandatory.

There might be slight variation in the design and shape of a cake as every cake we offer is handcrafted by our chefs who have their own way of baking and designing a cake to perfection. Occasionally, substitution of flavours and designs is necessary due to unavailability issues. In such cases, team Dottedi will get in touch with you to communicate the changes and also offer other alternatives.

In a situation where a product that you have ordered is unavailable or is out of stock, our experts will contact you to suggest other alternatives. If our experts are unable to reach you, then we will move on with sending you the alternative product since we would not want anything to tone down the spirit of the occasion as we know that you are sending it to your loved one(s).

Order Modification / Cancellation Policy:

There are some orders which we will not be able to accept and can be cancelled by us. Under any unforeseen situations, that may come in the way of the order process that may be limitations on quantity available of purchase, error in pricing information or product(s) or limitations of our credit department, we reserve the right to cancel your order.

Before accepting your order, we need to know some necessary information and details from your side. We will get in touch with you before cancelling any order.

Same day orders are processed immediately, and therefore cannot be modified/cancelled. However, if you want to modify/cancel an order, you can reach us on 080-41528753 or 9945099011 (10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 6 days a week). If the order has not been dispatched or prepared, we will try to modify/cancel the order for you. If the order has been prepared already or is out for delivery, it cannot be cancelled/ modified and you will be charged for the order.

In other events of order modification/cancellation, please reach out to us 24 hours in advance.

Delivery may extend due to :

  1. Political disorganisation
  2. Bad Weather
  3. Other unforeseen events.

In such cases, we will immediately reach out to you. Please check your SMS and e-mails regularly for updates.

  • Premises locked.
  • Wrong shipping/ delivery address.
  • Recipient not available.
  • Recipient refusing to accept the delivery.

In case if the recipient is not available, he/she can inform the delivery person to deliver the order to the gate/reception/neighbour.

Proof of delivery will be provided in case of any conflict in delivery.

Deliveries are made on Public Holidays and on Sundays for products that are delivered by hand.

The order will not be considered late if there is no one available at the shipping address to receive the delivery of your order at the time of delivery. Hence in such situations, no refunds, cancellations, liability can be made.

We will surely try our best as mentioned below –

  • Leave the bouquet/arrangement in a covered, safe area of the home (porch, garage, or other entrance).
  • Leave the package with a neighbour and place a message on the recipient’s door with this information.
  • Leave a note on the recipient’s door asking them to contact the florist to schedule a delivery time.

Call the recipient to schedule an appropriate delivery time.

  • Midnight Deliveries

    Subject to others terms of the shipping disclaimer, the delivery will be made between 11.00 PM to 11.59 PM on the chosen delivery date. Note : Please choose the date of delivery a day before the date of occasion in order to avoid inconvenience.

  • Fix Time Deliveries

    We cannot commit the exact time of delivery. Subject to the other terms of the shipping policy, the order will be delivered -30 or +30 minutes as per time selected.

  • Delivery of Courier Products

    In spite of, anything contained in the Shipping Disclaimer or in the Terms and Conditions, in case the order is made to deliver through any courier agency or any third party, Dottedi does not make any representation or warranty in relation to the delivery of such order.

    For products that are shipped using the services of our courier partners, the date of delivery is an estimate. Your delivery may be delivered a day prior or a day after the estimated/chosen date of delivery.

    No deliveries are made by third party courier agencies on a Sunday and Public Holidays.

    All courier orders are carefully packed and shipped from our warehouse. Soon after the order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number that will help you trace your order.

    There may be delays by the courier partners sometimes due to holidays and strikes.

    Our delivery partners do not call prior to delivering order, so we recommend that you provide an accurate address at which someone will be present to collect the package. The delivery cannot be modified/redirected to any other address.

    In case if the recipient is unavailable, we will attempt delivery twice and in case delivery location is incorrect or the recipient refuses to take the delivery, the delivery shall be deemed to have been made. The courier company will attempt to deliver the package twice before the parcel returns back to the point of origin.

    The products will be delivered through FedEx, DTDC and India Post or any other courier company chosen by Dottedi and the delivery made by them are subject to Terms and Conditions of such Courier Companies.

Delivery to Hospitals Policy

The professionals in our Dottedi team are experienced at making deliveries to hospitals. When placing your order, please be sure to include:

  • Hospital name
  • Full address of the hospital
  • Telephone number of the hospital
  • The name of the recipient
  • Room number or ward of the recipient
  • We will send your order in accordance with facility procedures, as most hospitals do not allow florists to personally deliver to individual rooms. Please note that many ICU patients are not permitted to receive flowers. Please check with the hospital before placing your order.

Delivery to Hotels Policy

The professionals in our Dottedi team are experienced at making deliveries to hotels. However please be aware to make the following information available:

  • Hotel Name
  • Full address of the Hotel/Resort
  • Telephone number of the recipient and the hotel/resort
  • The name of the recipient
  • Room Number of the recipient
  • Name of Tour Company, if applicable
  • If the recipient has not checked in at the hotel on the delivery date, the order will be left at the reception and the order will be assumed as executed. If the person has checked out of the hotel by the delivery date, the order will be assumed as executed and no refund will be made in such cases.

Delivery to Wedding Halls/Marriages Policy

We may not be able to assure the delivery to the bride and/or bridegroom for delivery of order items to Wedding Ceremonies/ Marriage Halls. However, we shall ensure that the delivery is made to one of the responsible member of host.

Delivery to Hostels/PG/Cantonment/Enclosed Premises

Our professionals are experienced at making deliveries to hostels/PG/Cantonment/Enclosed Premises. However, please be aware to make the following information available:

  • Hostel Name
  • Full Address of the hostel
  • Telephone Number of the recipient and the Hostel
  • Name of the Recipient
  • Room number of the recipient
  • The recipient needs to either come to the gate of the premises to collect the delivery or send someone on his/her behalf after coordinating with the delivery person. The order can be handed over to security/any other responsible person or the order will be left at the reception and the order will be assumed as executed.
  • Delivery at Remote Locations and Towns

    • Orders can be delivered only in the cities mentioned in the List of Serviceable Cities.
    • Please note that flowers, cakes and other perishable products are sourced locally at the delivery location.
    • We can’t commit to an exact time of delivery.
    • Correct address and contact number is a must of the recipient for placing the order.

    No deliveries would be done on National Holidays. The delivery of the same would be done on the next working day. In case of floods/ heavy rains/ National Bandh/election dates/ curfews/ traffic jams/ festival times/regulated traffic movements or any other impediments that may restrict the delivery of the order. Dottedi reserves the right to reschedule the delivery to another date.

    The delivery of the products/items ordered will be attempted only once at the address as provided in the order received by Dottedi. In the event the delivery is not executed due to any reason whatsoever not attributable to Dottedi, the customer shall still be charged for the order and no redelivery or refund will be made by Dottedi. The order will be deemed executed and delivered in the following events:

    • Delivery not done due to wrong address.
    • Recipient not available.
    • Premises locked.
    • Wrong/incorrect phone or mobile or extension number / not working / no reply or not connecting /not reachable.
    • Recipient refused the products.
    • Delivered the product at the Gate/Reception/Neighbourhood.
    • Delivery to railway stations, Metro stations and airports

      We do not deliver to railway stations, Metro stations and airports.

    Payment Terms

    You agree to pay the price applicable for the product or service on our website at the time you conform to your order (Product Price), the delivery fees for the delivery service you select, if any (Delivery Fees), or any applicable taxes (defined below). You will be solely responsible for payment of all taxes (other than taxes based on Dottedi's income), fees, duties, and other governmental charges, and any related fines, penalties and interest, arising from the purchase of the products and services (Taxes) not withheld by Dottedi.

    All payments are non-refundable (except as expressly set forth in the Terms and Conditions). We reserve the right to charge late fees on all due payments equivalent to the lesser of 1.5% per month on the unpaid balance or the highest rate allowed under Applicable Law. You agree to pay for all collection costs, attorney's fees, and court costs incurred in the collection of past due amounts.
